Incoming Erasmus Students
Incoming Erasmus Students are allowed to follow “course modules”. Only “course modules” with a proper code are allowed.
A maximum of 60 ECTS are allowed per academic year and more than 30 ECTS per semester are not recommended.
Locations
Our Department is located on two main poles: Via Gramsci, with structures owned by the University of Parma and others belonging to the University Hospital of Parma, and Via Volturno, hosting the Biotechnological pole.
The headquarters of the DiMeC (Direction and Administrative offices) is located in Via Gramsci 14, Viale Università, traversa 2C (Hospital pavilion No. 27).
How to reach us
Via Gramsci Pole:
The University Hospital of Parma is only 2 km from the center of the city, suitably connected by public transportation and easily accessible by bike.
By bus
The University Hospital of Parma is well served by city buses and suburban coaches. The stops are located in Via Gramsci and Via Abbeveratoia, near the two entrances of the hospital, the local lines 3, 4, 5, 12.
By train
From the train (railway) station by bus lines 12. The bus ride lasts approximately 10 minutes.
By car from outside Parma
For those arriving from the A1 Milan-Bologna, take the exit "Parma", the first for the city for those arriving from Bologna (south) and the second for those coming from Milan (north). From the motorway follow the signs to "Hospital".
For those arriving from the A15 Parma-La Spezia, take the exit "Parma Ovest".
Then, follow the signs for "Parma" and then "Hospital"
Via Volturno Pole
By train
From the train (railway) station by bus lines 11. Bus ride lasts approximately 15 minutes.
By car from outside Parma
Same indications of Gramsci Pole.
Parking
Via Volturno, opposite the new entrance to the hospital, has a parking lot with 370 places with free access to users. In the area around the entrance of Via Gramsci and Abbeveratoia, there are two additional car parkings.
