What we do
Activities
- Independent clinical research directed at the pathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment of diabetological and endocrinological diseases
- Participation in phase II-IV controlled clinical trials with new target drugs and multicenter observational studies
- Real-World data collection: Use of health databases to understand how metabolic diseases evolve in daily life
- Coordination with the Territorial Ethics Committee and relevant research facilities in the context of clinical trials
- Data management and statistical analysis of data

- Protocol for Early Detection and Monitoring of Type 1 Diabetes(INNODIA FAMILY AND FRIENDS EARLY-STAGE T1D PROGRAM)
- Multicenter prospective observational study on the clinical outcome of patients with thyroid carcinoma
- Study of characterization and phenotyping of patients offered drug therapy for obesity
- Cardiovascular safety of cagrilintide 2.4 mg s.c. in combination with semaglutide 2.4 mg s.c. (CagriSema 2.4 mg/2.4 mg s.c.) once weekly in participants with obesity and established cardiovascular disease.
- Drug-free, longitudinal, single-center experimental study for the prediction of cardiometabolic risk in Barilla offspring study subjects by analyzing the evolution of transcriptomic signatures (PRIN-2022 call)
- Assessment of pancreatic β-cell mass and function by a combination of mixed meal study and positron emission tomography (PET) imaging study in subjects with different degrees of functional β-cell mass (FIL call - 2019 incentive portion).
- Multicenter observational study on cardiovascular risk in type 1 diabetes
