Organization

The Department Board assists the Director in the exercise of the functions assigned to him/her, and exercises propositional and deliberative functions.

The Department Council is the body that defines the Department’s mission and approves the planning and management of its activities in accordance with the law, the Statute, and the University regulations.

Within each Department is established the Departmental Quality Presidium (PQD), an operational and liaison body between the University Quality Presidium and peripheral structures. It provides support and advice in the area of Quality Assurance (QA) of Teaching, as well as Research and Third Mission/Social Impact. The PQD has the function of operationalizing Quality Assurance pathways at the Department level.

The office is in charge of typical activities to support the care activities carried out by the Department's staff in their relations with the relevant Health and Hospital Boards.
