Committee on International Mobility

The Department's International Mobility Commission is responsible for assisting students who intend to undertake a period of study or internship abroad. It also assists foreign students who intend to undertake a period of study at the Department of Medicine and Surgery.

The Coordinator of the Department of Medicine and Surgery's International Mobility Commission coordinates and supervises activities related to academic and educational exchange programs promoted by the University (Erasmus +, Overworld and Special Projects) with partner hubs. Collaborates with the International Relations Office in promoting bilateral agreements and overseeing the quality of mobility experiences. He directs and supervises the activity of the Commission, which is formed by the Referents of the main Courses of Study incardinated in the Department, who, in turn, are responsible for the management of the study plans of mobile students (both incoming and outgoing), the 'appropriate integration of the educational paths and the recognition of the activities carried out, as well as the support of outgoing students during the formative period abroad and incoming students during the formative period at the degree courses of the Department. The President with the Referents promotes initiatives aimed at publicizing calls for international mobility, coordinates the evaluation of applications, and proposes strategies for improving and expanding internationalization opportunities.

He is accountable to the Director to whom he sends a semi-annual report of his work.

  • Prof. Silvia Ranzieri with delegated authority for the degree course in Physiotherapy
  • Prof. Ilaria Zanotti, Professor II Fascia of the Department of Food and Drug Sciences, as well as Delegate of the Magnificent Rector to the Erasmus+ and Mobility Program, with delegated authority for the Degree Course in Pharmaceutical, Veterinary and Medical biotechnologies
  • Doc Giovanna Troglio for the technical-administrative assistance to the work of the Commission.
