Parma, May 19, 2026 - Chiara Sassetti, a resident enrolled in the fifth year of the Specialization School in Pediatrics at the University of Parma, directed by professor Susanna Esposito, won as team leader the Clinical Games of Pediatrics, which took place in recent days in Acconia di Curinga, in the province of Catanzaro.
The Clinical Games are a national competition aimed at Italian Pediatrics residents and residents, who are called upon to compete on the management of major pediatric emergencies through simulated clinical scenarios, complex cases and tests oriented to diagnostic-therapeutic reasoning, teamwork and decision-making skills in high intensity care situations.
Participation in the Clinical Games constitutes an important opportunity for professional growth for young pediatricians, fostering comparison between Specialization Schools, sharing of experiences and strengthening of practical skills needed in the care of critical pediatric patients.
