Parma, May 13, 2026 - OnMay 27 at the University of Parma second edition of the PhD Job Day, designed to connect female PhDs, PhD students, and male and female assignees with businesses. The meeting is at the Nuovo polo didattico di via Kennedy - vicolo Santa Maria from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The day will be opened by greetings from the Pro-Rector for Right to Education and Student Services Isotta Piazza, of the Delegate for Doctoral Studies Chiara Dall'Asta, of the Delegate for Internships and Job Placement Marco Ieva and by Alain Marenghi of ART-ER.
The PhD Job Daywas created to facilitate the meeting between higher education and the world of work, offering participants and attendees a unique opportunity to come into direct contact with companies interested in highly qualified profiles. It will be a day of discussion, dialogue and opportunity, designed to enhance the soft and specialized skills gained during the doctoral program.
Understanding what companies are looking for, how to enhance one's PhD and how to get in touch with recruiters is not always straightforward. The University of Parma's PhD Job Day was created precisely for this reason, to offer a concrete and structured experience of meeting with companies: a day designed to create professional connections, foster dialogue and open new career opportunities.
This second edition will be attended by 8 companies, Italian and international, belonging to key sectors of the economy and innovation: Alleanza Assicurazioni, BUGNION SPA, Casalasco, Chiesi Farmaceutici, GranTerre, IFOA, NOA Software, VisLab - Ambarella, Sidel.
The full day will include one-on-one interviews and professional networking.
Participation is free and open to all Ph.D. and Ph.D. students, Ph.D. students, and female assignees of the University.
