What we do

Main lines of research:

The laboratory studies the mechanisms of human social cognition with focus on:
- The neurobiological and bodily bases of intersubjectivity and empathy
- The neurobiological and bodily bases of emotions
- The neurobiological and bodily bases of linguistic comprehension
- The neurobiological and bodily bases of psychiatric disorders (schizophrenia, PTSD, eating disorders)
- The neurobiological and bodily bases of aesthetic experience in visual arts, communication, and film
