What We Do

The Movement Analysis Laboratory conducts research in the field of Sports and Physical Education. Specifically, it performs the following assessments:

  • Assessment of the dynamics and kinematics of movement in athletes in relation to various sports disciplines;

  • Assessment of the dynamics and kinematics of movement in individuals of different ages and without clinical conditions;

  • Assessment of the dynamics and kinematics of movement in individuals with musculoskeletal and neurological conditions;

  • Assessment of components of physical fitness, such as strength, endurance, flexibility, and coordination, in individuals of different ages and without clinical conditions;

  • Assessment of muscle activity during various movement patterns and motor and sports-related movements;

  • Assessment of reaction time to visual stimuli in the general population and in athletes.
