What we do

Traditional radiological diagnosis to pediatric patients 0-18 years old using the following radiological equipment:

 

PHILIPS MULTI DIAGNOST ELEVA with flat detector used for contrast-functional and traditional X-ray examinations (e.g., chest, abdomen, skull, spine, pelvis, long and short bones, Minctional Cystourethrography, Digestive Tube, Opaque Clisma, etc.)

 

PHILIPS DIGITAL DIAGNOST used for traditional X-ray examinations (e.g., rx thorax, abdomen, skull, spine, pelvis, long and short bones also under load, etc.)

 

PHILIPS PRACTIX 33 portable device used for traditional bedside X-ray examinations (e.g. rx chest, abdomen, etc.)

 

PHILIPS VERADIUS Brilliance Intensifier portable appliance used for Rx examinations in operating compartments during surgical procedures (during urological, gastroenterological, orthopedic procedures, venous catheter placements, foreign body removals, etc.)

 

READER CR 800 KODAK equipment that allows you to be able to use X-ray cassettes (analog method) and process images digitally with the possibility of archiving as well.

  • Student Reference: Course of Study in Medical, Imaging and Radiotherapy techniques
  • Title of Internship: Traditional Diagnostics

Number of hours/student: 50 hours total for each internship

  • Number of students per a.a. The number is variable depending on the degree course enrollment. For the current a.y., 12 internships are planned.

Note: Only one student is allowed per internship period at a time.
