What we do

aerobiologia

Outdoor aerobiological monitoring of pollen and fungal spores:

Pollen bulletins and pollen calendars - https://www.bollettinopolliniallergenici.unipr.en

Indoor aerobiological monitoring

  • in contamination-controlled health care environments - microbiological air and surface, particulate air;
  • in Cultural heritage conservation environments - microbiological air and surface, particulate air;
  • in living and working environments - microbiological air and surface, particulate air.
  • Classification and reclassification of operating rooms and other contamination-controlled environments
  • Microclimate monitoring

Main lines of research

  • Standardization of air and surface biological sampling methods (bacteria, fungi, and viruses);
  • Turbulent flow or unidirectional flow ventilation systems and air contamination in the operating room;
  • Pollen concentrations and allergenic potency;
  • Assessment of changes in pollen seasonality as an indicator of climate change;
  • Analysis of the spread of allergenic pollen from non-native weeds.
