What we do

Outdoor aerobiological monitoring: 
o pollen and fungal spores, according to Hirst and real-time
Indoor aerobiological monitoring in living and working environments, with special reference to health care and cultural heritage conservation environments
o active and passive air microbiology 
o surface microbiology
Monitoring in contamination-controlled environments: 
o particulate air
o classification and reclassification
o active and passive air microbiology 
o surface microbiology 
o air flow rate, pressure, and velocity 
Microclimate:
o temperature and relative humidity
o CO2 concentration
Scotch test: 
o morphological recognition by light microscopy of fungal spores

- Biological quality of indoor and outdoor air.
- Standardization of air and surface microbiological sampling methods.
- Concentrations of airborne pollen and fungal spores.
- Pollen load, pollen seasonality, and climate change.
- Analysis of allergenic pollen spread from non-native weeds.
- Real-time sampling of pollen and fungal spores (artificial intelligence and machine learning).
