What we do

The Movement Analysis Laboratory conducts research in the area of Sports and Physical Education. Specifically, it conducts the following assessments:

  • Evaluation of the dynamics and kinematics of movement in the athlete and in relation to different sports disciplines;

  • Evaluation of movement dynamics and kinematics in the individual of different ages and in the absence of clinical conditions;

  • Evaluation of the dynamics and kinematics of movement in the individual under conditions of musculoskeletal and neurological pathologies;

  • Evaluation of the components of physical efficiency, such as strength, endurance, flexibility and coordination, in individuals of different ages and in the absence of clinical conditions;

  • Evaluation of muscle activity during different movement patterns and motor and sport gestures;

  • Evaluation of responsiveness to visual stimuli in the general population and in the athlete.
