What we do
The Movement Analysis Laboratory conducts research in the area of Sports and Physical Education. Specifically, it conducts the following assessments:
Evaluation of the dynamics and kinematics of movement in the athlete and in relation to different sports disciplines;
Evaluation of movement dynamics and kinematics in the individual of different ages and in the absence of clinical conditions;
Evaluation of the dynamics and kinematics of movement in the individual under conditions of musculoskeletal and neurological pathologies;
Evaluation of the components of physical efficiency, such as strength, endurance, flexibility and coordination, in individuals of different ages and in the absence of clinical conditions;
Evaluation of muscle activity during different movement patterns and motor and sport gestures;
Evaluation of responsiveness to visual stimuli in the general population and in the athlete.
